Launched in 2006, the BiKBBI is a not-for-profit registered organisation, sanctioned by The UK Secretary of State (6533488) to address the increasing number of consumer complaints received each year. In 2011-12, its reported that the industry received some £69m worth of complaints, which highlights the need for positive change.

Trustpilot is a website founded in Denmark in 2007 which publishes reviews for online businesses. The site lists and promotes registered businesses for free but charges fees for additional promotion. Trustpilot employs about 500 people and roughly 500,000 new reviews are posted each month

Gas Safe Register is the official gas safety organisation in Great Britain.

It replaced CORGI on 1st April 2009. Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration and regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances.

NAPIT is one of the leading Government approved and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme operators in the building services and fabric sector. There are currently more than 10,000 NAPIT registered installers in the electrical, heating, plumbing, ventilation, microgeneration and building fabric trades across the UK domestic,
